Our firm started in February 1984 in order to focus solely on serving local government and government entities in Southeastern Wisconsin. Since that time, our firm has become one of the largest and most well-respected law firms in Wisconsin dedicated solely to serving local governments; we serve them with consistency and integrity. Our firm is proud of its deep experience in this area of the law and of our ability to answer our clients’ daily inquiries on the spot, resolve complex problems, and successfully control their risks and liabilities.

 

In 2017, the firm rebranded its name from the last names of the partners to Municipal Law & Litigation Group, S.C., in order to reflect the strong bond we have maintained to serving the legal needs of counties, cities, villages, towns and all quasi-governmental entities throughout the State.

 

Our clients refer to us as “our municipal attorneys” due to our knowledge and experience serving local government entities of all types and sizes and their officials and employees. Our firm has full-service capabilities with a dedicated focus on municipal law, municipal litigation defense and appellate practice, while providing the flexibility, personal responsiveness, and efficiency of a boutique law firm. Our attorneys serve clients throughout Wisconsin and in all administrative, state and federal courts.  We protect our clients and resolve their complicated problems with technical expertise, zealous advocacy, creativity, and common sense.
